About the Role – Casual Sommelier (Summer Party Event)
We are looking for Casual Sommeliers to join our team for a one-night-only luxury event on Saturday, February 14, at West Beach Pavilion, St Kilda. This event is a celebration of fine wine and hospitality, and we require passionate and knowledgeable professionals to deliver exceptional wine service.
This opportunity may lead to future roles as we expand our event calendar prior to opening or full-time employment closer to the Club's opening in mid-2026.

Experience Required
* Strong F&B background in premium hospitality environments
* Previous sommelier experience and extensive wine knowledge is essential
* Must have a valid RSA
* Minimum Level 2 WSET
Skills Required
* Ability to open sparkling wine professionally (quietly, at an angle, without ripping the foil).
* Confidently check for cork taint and assess wine quality.
* Strong pouring skills with consistency across service stations.
* Ability to accurately communicate key wine details (Vintage, Producer, Cuvée, Region).
* Exceptional guest interaction and customer service skills.
