We are seeking a clinically focused skilled to join our Joint Replacement team in Perth. This is a full‑time, permanent role with a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Relocation to Perth for 2+ years is supported with a relocation package.
About The Role
As a Product Specialist in the Mako space, you’ll support orthopaedic surgeons in delivering robotic‑assisted hip and knee replacements using the Mako Robotic‑Arm Assisted Surgery System. You’ll work closely with surgical teams to provide expert guidance before, during, and after procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Support surgeons during robotic‑assisted joint replacement surgeries
- Assist with pre‑operative planning using CT‑based software
- Provide real‑time guidance in the operating theatre
- Train hospital staff on the Mako system and surgical workflows
- Maintain strong knowledge of orthopaedic anatomy and procedures
Preferred Background
- Nursing or perioperative care
- Physiotherapy, osteopathy, or chiropractic
- Paramedicine
- Exercise physiology/sports science
- Fitness professional – personal trainers, etc.
- Biomedical engineering or medical science
