We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner who will be responsible for the operational activities of the maintenance function on site, including all plant and equipment and maintenance planning.

Our Talloman division specialises in the processing of mixed abattoir materials and by products through our rendering plant located in Hazelmere. The site currently processes up to 3,500 tonnes of animal waste per week that would otherwise go to landfill.

Key responsibilities:
* Prepare labour and cost estimates, and develop work and safety plans
* Manage and administer the Talloman CMMS (MEX), including work orders and maintenance updates
* Plan and schedule weekly maintenance activities based on resources and production priorities
* Requisition parts and coordinate with stores and procurement to ensure availability
* Complete permits, drawings, JSA/SWMS, and ensure compliance with safety standards
* Track spare parts, monitor rebuilds, and manage inventory of critical equipment
* Review and recommend disposal of obsolete parts in coordination with central stores
* Approve purchase orders and ensure timely procurement of maintenance materials
* Calculate resource requirements and develop rosters, including on-call schedules
* Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Supervisor to implement and track scheduled work
* Ensure critical spare parts are maintained and available if required.
About you:
* Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling roles
* Competent with Microsoft Office suite of products
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Strong organisational and planning skills with demonstrated leadership experience
* Reading and math skills are required along with the ability to interpret technical drawings
* Trade qualification
* Desired: experience using MEX or similar asset management software
