Job Title: Veterinary Nurse

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist our veterinarians with routine exams and procedures, providing high-quality nursing care to patients.
* Deliver pre- and post-operative patient care, offering support to clients during difficult times.
* Administer medications and prepare treatments as required, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of care.
* Manage the admission and discharge process for surgical and hospital patients, ensuring seamless transitions.
* Communicate treatment plans and updates to clients, building trust and rapport through effective communication.
* Perform blood collection, testing, and IV catheter placement, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant techniques and best practices.
* Support dental care, including scale and polish and performing dental x-rays, staying current on advances in dental technology and techniques.
* Contribute to day-to-day nursing tasks to support our vets and team in providing exceptional patient care.
About You:
* Hold a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in small animal practice preferred.
* Strong clinical skills and confidence in all areas of general practice.
* Excellent communication, organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Team player with a friendly and positive attitude.
