About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Cook to join our team at our 138-bed Residential Aged Care Facility in Inverell, NSW.
As a Casual Cook, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality meals that support the health, wellbeing, and enjoyment of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook nutritious meals in line with resident dietary requirements
* Maintain high food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness standards
* Assist with menu planning and seasonal meal preparation
* Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies
* Work collaboratively with the broader residential care team
* Ensure meals are delivered in a timely, safe, and professional manner
Essential Requirements
* Certificate III or Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
* Minimum 12 months' experience in a similar cooking role
* Sound understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
* Ability to work effectively under pressure
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused attitude
* Ability to provide 2 recent managerial referees
* Willingness to complete a Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
Desirable
* Previous experience in Residential Aged Care
