We specialise in BVLOS operations, delivering advanced aerial survey and inspection services.We are seeking a Regulatory Writer (RPAS) to support our regulatory and safety framework.
This is an office-based role that involves the preparation and management of safety cases, regulatory submissions, and compliance activities.
Training on our in-house RPAS systems and platforms will be provided on site.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain BVLOS SORA applications in accordance with JARUS methodology and CASA requirements.Interpret and apply CASR Part 101, associated MOS, and regulatory guidance to company operations.Support the CRP in managing safety systems, risk assessments, and compliance documentation.Generate operational maps and supporting material using GIS tools such as QGIS.Liaise with CASA and other regulatory bodies as required, supporting audits and application reviews.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving RPAS regulatory frameworks and industry best practices.Experience / QualificationsSound knowledge of RPAS BVLOS operations.Sound knowledge of CASR Part 101 and JARUS SORA methodology.Demonstrated experience drafting regulatory submissions, safety cases, or equivalent compliance documentation.Proficiency with GIS software (e.g. QGIS) for informational map generation.Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.Must hold valid working rights in Australia.Experience interacting with CASA or other aviation regulators.Background in aviation safety, compliance, or systems engineering.Familiarity with RPAS operational concepts and mission planning processes.RePL and/or Current or past crewed aviation licence.What's on OfferOpportunity to specialise in BVLOS safety case and compliance activities in the RPAS sector.Direct collaboration with the Chief Remote Pilot and senior operational staff.Exposure to cutting-edge RPAS technology and regulatory innovation.Market-competitive salary and career development opportunities in a rapidly growing industry.How to applyIf you're interested in joining our journey, please apply now!
