Overview
EA Legal is seeking a 5+ PQE lawyer with experience (or a keen interest in) construction law matters
to join us as an associate. This role is envisaged to develop into a Senior Associate position.
In the role, you will be working across a variety of areas, including:
- Contract review and preparation across a range of procurement models including design only,
DNC, sub-contract agreements.
- Contract administration advice including advice on variation claims, defects liability and defect
liability periods, practical completion and retention.
- Security of payment claims and payment schedules.
- Building and construction claims and dispute resolution.
- Termination of contracts, repudiation and structuring of projects.
- Advisory work.

Experience and Skills Required
- relevant experience in one or more of the areas listed above
- strong demonstrable legal knowledge in the areas of experience
- proven professional approach to client management and working in a team environment
- a desire to grow their own professional brand within the legal and construction industry and an
aim to progress their career within EA Legal.
