About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Documents and Settlement Officer to join our team on a full-time, 12 month contract.
As the Credit Documents and Settlement Officer, you will provide high-quality support to both internal teams and Members by ensuring all loan documentation and settlement activities are handled efficiently and in accordance with relevant legislation, codes, and organisational policies.
In this role, you’ll also be responsible for preparing loan documentation, attending settlements, liaising with solicitors, and ensuring mortgages and PPSR registrations are processed accurately and on time. You’ll play a vital part in maintaining compliance, managing risks, and upholding our high standards of service delivery. This position will be based in our Townsville Head Office.
About You
To be eligible to apply for this position you must demonstrate the following:
* Provide timely support and clear communication to Members, teams, and lending staff.
* Prepare, execute, and register loan, mortgage, and PPSR documents per legislation and policy.
* Manage local and remote settlements, liaising with solicitors on complex cases.
* Conduct second line credit reviews and ensure audits comply with regulations and policies.
* Handle complaint and breach management, offering guidance on credit processes.
* Recommend process improvements to uphold quality standards.
* Maintain professional development through ongoing training.
* Promote teamwork, compliance, and service excellence.
