Optus is an Australian telecommunications company, delivering more than 11 million services to our customers every day across mobile, broadband and digital solutions. This role is for a Project Coordinator who will be instrumental in guaranteeing the successful completion of projects, providing administrative support to the Project Manager and helping coordinate planning, tracking, reporting, quality management, and communication. You will generate detailed reports covering breakthroughs, key challenges, risks and project expenditures. You will contribute to on‑time delivery within budget and high quality standards, allocate and manage resources, and foster a cooperative, motivated team. 
Responsibilities 
- Assist in project planning by collaborating with project managers to develop comprehensive action plans, including prioritisation, timelines and budgets. 
- Coordinate all aspects of project activities to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and within budget, including scheduling meetings, tracking progress and managing documentation. 
- Serve as a communications link between project teams, collaborators and clients, providing status updates and resolving issues as they arise. 
- Maintain meticulous project documentation, including plans, timelines, budgets and reports, ensuring information is accurate and up to date. 
- Identify potential project risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies to ensure smooth execution. 
- Provide administrative support to project teams, including scheduling, filing and correspondence to facilitate efficient operations. 
Skills & Qualifications 
- Proven ability to assist in project planning with project managers to develop action plans, timelines, and budgets. 
- Outstanding coordination skills to manage meetings, progress tracking and documentation, ensuring on‑time delivery and budget adherence. 
- Solid communication skills to relay project status updates and resolve issues with project teams, collaborators and clients. 
- Meticulous documentation skills to maintain accurate project information and reports. 
- Competence in risk management to identify risks and contribute to mitigation strategies. 
- Administrative support expertise for scheduling, filing and correspondence to facilitate efficient project operations.
