Therapist Role Summary
This job involves working as a Behaviour Support Practitioner in various settings. As a therapist, you will work directly with individuals to provide life-changing therapy and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans using positive behaviour support framework
* Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA)
* Collaborate within interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges
* Build meaningful relationships with participants and their supports
Required Qualifications and Skills
* Relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor, Masters or Graduate Diploma) and relevant registration
* Minimum 12 months experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
* Positive and flexible approach to work
* Strong communication skills and ability to be a team player
* Commitment to personal and professional growth
* A valid Australian driver's license
* NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Children Check
