Job Type: Permanent Full-Time Position
Pay: $70,000 - $85,000 per year
Work Location: In person – Inverell, New South Wales, Australia

The Role:
In this role, you will perform skilled meat processing tasks while ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
Your key responsibilities are, but not limited to:
Performing skilled boning, slicing, or slaughtering tasks to meet production requirements.
Handling knives and equipment safely and efficiently to ensure precision and quality.
Adhering to workplace health and safety regulations, food hygiene practices, and company policies.
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment in line with industry standards.
Working as part of a team to meet production targets and operational deadlines.
Shift times are as follows:
Slaughter Floor Day shift approximately - 6:00am - 4:00pm.
Boning Room Day shift approximately - 5:00am - 2:00pm.
Boning Room Afternoon Shift approximately - 2:30pm - 12:00am.
Skills and Experiences:
About You:
Proven experience in a meat processing facility as a Boner, Slicer, or Slaughterman
Proficient knife handling skills, including safe and efficient use of cutting tools
Understanding of production processes and requirements to ensure quality and efficiency
Commitment to workplace health and safety regulations and food hygiene practices
Adherence to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards
Reliable work history, demonstrating a strong work ethic and consistency
Ability to pass a physio and medical assessment to meet physical job demands
Willingness to undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol screening as part of the hiring process
