- Range for pay: Starting at $400 AUD / day
We are looking for teachers who:
- Deliver engaging lessons that follow the Aussie curriculum from Kindergarten to Grade 6 (don't worry—we'll help you get the hang of it)
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where students feel supported and motivated
- Collaborate with fellow educators and get involved in school life
- Be flexible—whether it's a short-term relief role or a long-term contract, there's something for every kind of traveler-teacher
- Embrace the opportunity to grow professionally in an international setting—whether you're teaching near the coast, in the city, or somewhere off the beaten path
We have a limited amount of positions available for guaranteed substitute work, ask about our Ambassador Program.
Requirements:
- Completion of a minimum three-year undergraduate degree plus a one-year postgraduate teaching qualification
- The teaching qualification must be in primary and/or secondary education
- Must include a minimum of 45 days of supervised teaching practicum as part of your qualification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
In order to apply for one of these roles, you must be eligible to apply for one of the following visa options:
417 Working Holiday
- Must apply for the visa before 36th birthday
- Grants 1 year of working rights
189 or 190 Skilled Worker Visa
- You must be under 45 years of age at time of application
- Takes 10-14 months to process
- Must apply on a points-based system
- Encouraged to speak with an immigration agent – we can assist once this visa is in process
