Morgan McKinley is partnering with a Non-Bank Lender looking for a Senior Credit Analyst, specialising in Asset Finance. This is a hybrid role, with 4 days to be based in the Sydney office. In this role, you will ensure that risk and customer creditworthiness are assessed in accordance with company credit policy. You will play a key role in protecting the integrity of the organisation while delivering exemplary customer service. You will also support the Team Leader as a 2IC, assisting in team management and ensuring deadlines are delivered within required timeframes. Responsibilities : Prepare, recommend, and approve loan applications Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, including BDMs, Brokers and suppliers. Minimise fraud and credit losses while ensuring strict adherence to NCCP, AML/CTF, and Privacy Act legislation. Conduct thorough analysis of financial documents, including Balance Sheets, P&L statements, and Taxation Portals. Act as the 2IC to provide leadership support and escalate matters outside of your delegation when necessary. Requirements : 3-5 years experience as a Credit Analyst in commercial lending secured by assets is mandatory. Knowledge of the regulatory environment and a degree in Business or Accounting is desirable. A good understanding of product-specific lending (Low Doc, Mid Doc, Full Doc) for the SME sector. Familiarity with loan structures such as Finance Leases, Lines of Credit, and Premium Funding. Excellent client service skills and attention to detail, with the ability to independently problem solve to tight deadlines.
