Australian Venue Co is on the hunt for experienced and passionate Head Chefs to join our Gold Coast kitchen leadership team across two of our flagship venues — Runaway Bay Tavern and Burleigh Town Hotel.
These are well-established, high-volume pubs with strong local followings, great teams, and plenty of opportunity to make your mark.
At Runaway Bay Tavern, you'll be at the helm of a classic family-friendly destination known for its relaxed waterfront atmosphere and large bistro menu that locals love.
At Burleigh Town Hotel, you'll lead a passionate team in a newly refurbished, award-winning venue — home to an epic beer garden, world-class sports bar, and a buzzing bistro that's always full of energy.
What we're looking for:
Proven experience leading a kitchen team in a busy pub or restaurant environment
Strong leadership and communication skills
A hands-on approach and passion for delivering consistent, high-quality food
Ability to manage stock, labour and food costs in line with targets
Commitment to training, developing and motivating your team
