Our logistics team requires an experienced Warehouse Operative to work in a fast-paced environment. You will support various tasks such as warehousing, forklift operation and vehicle handling.
About the Role
You will be working Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm in our Derwent Park TAS warehouse. The ideal candidate should have strong safety awareness and reliability with a positive attitude towards teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
* Pick and pack customer orders efficiently
* Operate forklifts safely using clamp attachments where possible
* Use RF scanners for picking, putaway and replenishment tasks
* Drive company vehicles on and off-site for inspection and delivery purposes (manual licence required)
* Create consignment notes and basic transport documentation
* Perform manual handling tasks including occasional lifts of up to 37.5 kg
Requirements
* Previous experience within a logistics or warehousing environment
* Valid LF forklift licence with clamp attachment experience viewed favourably
* RF scanning proficiency and good understanding of inventory accuracy
* Valid manual driver's license and confidence driving company vehicles
* Ability to follow standard operating procedures and customer requirements
* Good communication skills, attention to detail and a safe-first mindset
