Job Title: Engineering Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to oversee the technical operations of our hotel. This role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all technical systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators, and life safety systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain the hotel building, public areas, and event spaces to ensure they meet brand specifications and local regulations.
* Review engineering drawings, equipment schedules, and operational manuals to identify areas for improvement.
* Work with project consultants and contractors to ensure construction and installation works meet brand specifications and local regulations.
* Participate in site inspections and commissioning of building systems.
* Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all equipment, including utilities.
* Ensure safe and efficient operation of all technical systems in the hotel.
* Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance across guestrooms, public areas, heart of house, and outdoor spaces.
* Maintain compliance with fire, health, and safety regulations.
* Lead emergency procedures and coordinate regular safety drills.
* Prepare and manage engineering budgets and utility costs.
* Monitor energy usage and implement cost-effective energy management strategies.
* Manage external contractors for specialized maintenance and inspections.
* Ensure prompt response to guest engineering-related issues and maintain high guest satisfaction standards.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an Engineering Manager in a similar industry.
* Strong knowledge of technical systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators, and life safety systems.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
