We are seeking an experienced Event Sales Executive, who is passionate about building relationships, driving sales, and creating memorable events. Reporting to the Head of Catering, to work across our Event and award-winning corporate deliverable catering business. The ideal candidate will hit the ground running in order to quote and secure event-based business throughout our venues and event channels.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
* Prepare and send proposals and contracts to new and existing clients.
* Assist with site inspections and client meetings.
* Assist team with yield management and achieving sales targets.
* Collaborate and coordinate with the operations team to ensure events run smoothly and seamlessly to meet or exceed client expectations.
* Proven track-record in increasing event sales across the corporate and private sectors.
* Build and maintain strong relationships within the corporate marketplace.
* Proven success in meeting sales targets in new and existing business.
* Develop, execute, and review a progressive business development plan to achieve sales targets.
* Manage and actively participate in sales team meetings.
* Manage general administration tasks, including invoicing and payment reconciliation.
The Requirements
* 2+ years management previous experience in the hospitality or events industries.
* Strong financial understanding of sales reporting, budgets and forecasting.
* Possess strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent client management and relationship development skills.
* High-level industry knowledge and understanding of market trends and competitors.
* Be self-motivated with strong organisational and time management skills.
* Available to work Tuesday to Saturday
