**About the Role**:

We are currently seeking a dynamic **Community Engagement Adviser** to join our vibrant team and help shape the future of how we engage with our diverse stakeholders within the National Parks and Wildlife Service.
The Community Engagement Adviser contributes to meeting revenue and visitation targets and upholding the reputation of the National Parks and Wildlife Service by:
- Planning, sourcing and creating digital content to market parks across written, photographic, spoken, pictorial and video mediums and channels including websites, blogs, maps, podcasts, social media, databases and Electronic Direct Mail (EDM)
- Ensuring that parks websites, social media assets, multimedia content and newsletters adhere to user-friendly design and layout principles.
- Regularly checking how our strategies are performing and making improvements based on SEO best practice data and insights.
- Monitoring social media and web enquiries and responding or taking action as appropriate, with oversight from manager and Senior Marketing Adviser and relevant approvals.
- Building strong working relationships with National Parks and Wildlife Service staff.

**Contract**: Contract for up to 12 months
**Special Conditions**:
- May be required to participate in fire management or associated duties.
- May be required to work outside of normal hours, including on weekends.
**Remuneration**: ASO4 - $76,561 min - $80,256 max p.a.
