As a result, an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced National Operations Manager to join the senior leadership team and drive performance, consistency and operational excellence across the national store network. About the Role Reporting directly to the General Manager, this is a highly influential leadership position responsible for driving operational excellence, consistency and performance across a national store network. The role oversees 5 Regional Managers and works closely with key stakeholders to ensure stores operate to the highest standards across customer experience, team performance, compliance, and commercial outcomes. You will be responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies, establishing best-practice standards, and ensuring company initiatives are successfully executed across all locations. The role will also lead store audits, performance reviews, training programs, new store openings, refurbishments and ongoing operational improvements. This position offers the opportunity to make a genuine impact on a growing national business while working alongside an ambitious and highly engaged executive team. Key responsibilities include: Leading and developing a team of Regional Managers Driving consistency and operational excellence across all stores Reviewing store performance and implementing improvement strategies Managing compliance, safety and operational standards nationally Delivering training and coaching initiatives across the network Supporting new store openings, refurbishments and maintenance projects Building strong relationships with store owners and key stakeholders Enhancing customer experience and commercial performance across the business National travel to support stores and operational initiatives Skills and Experience To be successful in this role, you will be an accomplished multi-site retail leader with experience managing large store networks and developing high-performing teams with a background in the trade retail & home improvement industries.
