About the Role
Trico Services is a leading provider of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning services and is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our Melbourne-based team. This is a full-time role focused primarily on commercial refrigeration, working across multiple sites and systems.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality service, repairs, and maintenance while supporting our commitment to reliable, compliant, and professional outcomes for our clients.

What You'll Be Doing
* Diagnose, service, and repair commercial refrigeration systems
* Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance to ensure system reliability
* Install and upgrade refrigeration equipment and components
* Work on compressors, condensing units, evaporators, TX valves, and controls
* Complete service reports and documentation accurately
* Comply with all WHS requirements, site procedures, and company policies
* Travel across Melbourne and regional areas as required

What We're Looking For
* Trade qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (Cert III or equivalent)
* Minimum 2 years' experience in commercial refrigeration
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Sound knowledge of refrigeration systems, refrigerants, and controls
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
* High attention to detail and strong safety awareness
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Current driver's licence and White Card
* ARCtick licence (essential)
