Join ourInterior Systemsteam as anElectrical Engineer, where you'll play a key role in drivingautomation, safety, and operational excellenceacross our manufacturing sites nationally.
About the role
You'll provide critical technical leadership, setting direction for electrical, automation, and controls activities across CSR's Gyprock and Interior Systems facilities.
Lead plant floor functional safety upgrades (AS****) and automation projects
Develop, implement, and benchmark electrical & control systems and standards
Manage end-to-end delivery of capital projects (from design to commissioning)
Support production line automation and drive equipment reliability improvements
Oversee compliance with regulatory and CSR safety standards
Mentor site teams and electrical contractors, building technical capability
Use factory floor data to develop reporting tools (Power BI, SQL) in order to track and improve operational performance
About you
Degree qualified inElectricalorMechatronics Engineering
Experience incontinuous process manufacturingandproduction line automation
Demonstrated ability to design and implement industrial electrical systems
Strong knowledge ofPLC/SCADA control systems(Allen Bradley Siemens and Ignition)
Proven project management and technical leadership skills
Ability to deliver in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
Competent in the use of AutoCad or equivalent design software
Relational database (SQL) and reporting (Power BI) experience – desirable
