Data Governance & Quality Platform Lead page is loaded## Data Governance & Quality Platform Leadlocations: West Perthtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: JR105923As a Data Governance & Quality Platform Lead, you will be responsible for the implementation, execution, support, and continuous improvement of data management technology solutions (Aperture and Purview) that enable high standards of data quality, data cataloguing, and data governance.This will start as a 1-year maximum term role.* Designing, implementing and automating data management solutions using Aperture and Purview; owning their roadmaps and negotiating with vendors to ensure we are utilising the tools and new features that are coming.* Establishing and maintaining data quality platforms and toolsets to support profiling, measurement, assessment, monitoring, reporting, and remediation of data quality across critical domains.* Enabling preventative, detective and corrective data quality controls at key points in the data lifecycle, ensuring issues are identified early and managed effectively.* Collaborating with Data Owners, Data Stewards, Governance Leads and Engineering teams to embed data quality capabilities, including business reporting, lineage, and authoritative data asset cataloguing.* Developing and governing enterprise metadata and business definitions, maintaining glossaries, taxonomies, and lineage to support consistent understanding and trustworthy data use.* Managing relationships with external vendors and service providers, coordinating technical solutions, quality expectations, and cost-effective delivery of services.* Assessing and advising on data-related changes through architectural and technical governance forums, ensuring impacts are understood, required stakeholders are engaged, and risks are mitigated.* Strong knowledge of data management practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise data assets.* Strong demonstrable experience utilising technology and technical assets to develop and embed data management processes into business processes.* Strong understanding of data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA DMBOK), data quality dimensions, and regulatory requirements (e.g., APRA CPG 235, Privacy Act).* Sound business analysis skills, with a good understanding of how technology can enable and improve the management of data.* Exemplary stakeholder engagement and management skills.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Tertiary qualifications in a quantitative field such as, Data Management, Information Management, Computer Science, or related field is mandatory.* Work with cutting-edge technologies and be part of a team driving digital transformation across RACWA.* Join a team that values personal development and enables continuous learning opportunities, certifications, and career progression within a supportive and growth-focused environment.* Benefit from flexible and hybrid working arrangements, including temporary remote work options and a focus on work-life balance.* Contribute to high-impact projects or products that directly enhance RACWA's services to its members and the community.* Be part of an organisation that embraces diversity and inclusion, ensuring a welcoming environment for all employees.* Take advantage of a strong focus on employee wellbeing, including mental health support, wellness programs, and fitness incentives.* Engage in meaningful community and social responsibility initiatives that align with RACWA's values and mission.**About RAC**RAC WA is a member-focused organisation dedicated to serving the Western Australian community.
