WHAT YOU WILL OWN
* Lifecycle Logic: Own the roadmap for automated re-engagement across refinance, facility utilisation, and repeat borrowing. You will use behavioural and credit/data triggers to increase conversion and utilisation while reducing churn.
* Risk & Finance Integration: Act as the "Product Brain" by partnering with Risk and Finance to translate credit policy and commercial guardrails into scalable product features, decision logic, and customer journeys.
* Product-Led Retention: Build systemic retention capabilities, including self-serve refinance/renewal flows, in-product prompts, and automated monitoring, that reduce manual intervention and deliver measurable uplift to portfolio economics.
* Commercial Impact: Align Growth, Risk, Finance, Data, and Engineering on the commercial “why,” building business cases that justify roadmap priorities based on LTV and portfolio economics.
THIS PERSON IS SOMEONE WITH
* Significant Product Experience: Ideally in fintech, lending, or regulated environments, with a track record of managing complex, cross-functional lifecycles.
* Commercial Fluency & Influence: You can "speak Finance" and use data and product insights to evolve offer strategy and lifecycle logic. You're comfortable discussing commercial trade-offs, can translate business goals into product logic and customer journeys, and can align Risk, Finance, and Engineering behind changes with clear commercial rationale.
* Stakeholder Management: You have a proven ability to build credibility with technical and financial experts. You can challenge the status quo constructively and earn the buy-in needed to evolve product logic.
* Data-Driven Insight: You are comfortable with complex data and use it to build business cases, prove impact, and guide strategic decisions.
* Strategic Ownership: You have the ability to take a high-level commercial goal and translate it into a phased, executable roadmap.
* Systems Thinking: You can reason about data and system constraints alongside Engineering & Data, ensuring our commercial logic is technically sound and scalable.
