The Pharmacy Department at Cairns Hospital provides a comprehensive range of pharmacy services to support safe and effective patient care across the hospital's clinical areas. These services include outpatient pharmacy services, clinical pharmacy support to inpatient wards, management of an extensive imprest system, participation in clinical trials, and the delivery of education and training activities.

To coordinate and assist in the completion of human resource, payroll and recruitment processes on behalf of the Director of Pharmacy
Provide efficient secretariat and logistical support to the Medication Safety Committee including preparation of agendas, minutes, briefing notes and co-ordinating members and ensuring administration and business procedures and systems are well considered, documented and operate effectively and efficiently.
Have the ability to manage a large workload whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy within identified milestones and timeframes.
Undertake investigation, research and analysis of sensitive and confidential matters providing ethical decision making in the achievement of organisational goals.
