The Role
As an Associate Structural Engineer, you will play a key leadership role across technical delivery, project management, and team development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver structural designs from concept through to construction documentation
* Review and approve drawings, calculations, and technical reports
* Take responsibility for sign-off and quality assurance across projects
* Lead project planning, scheduling, and successful delivery
* Monitor budgets, fees, and resource allocation
* Supervise, mentor, and develop graduate and mid-level engineers
* Provide technical guidance and review junior engineers' work
* Contribute to maintaining and enhancing engineering standards
About You
* Chartered Engineer status CPEng / NER / PE with proven experience signing off on projects
* 8–15+ years of local design experience within Australia
* Strong technical expertise across:
o Concrete (post-tensioned and reinforced)
o Steel
o Masonry
o Timber
* Experience across commercial, industrial, public infrastructure, and hospitality projects
* A well-rounded professional with strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
