About the role
Boomerang Training Solutions is seeking a passionate and experienced Driver Instructor to join our team in Wollongong, NSW. This is a casual role, offering the flexibility to work around your schedule. As a Driver Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality driving instruction and preparing students for their licence examinations.
What you'll be doing
* Delivering comprehensive driving lessons to students of all skill levels
* Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to help them improve their driving skills
* Preparing students for their licence tests by ensuring they are proficient in all required driving manoeuvres
* Maintaining detailed records of student progress and lesson plans
* Adhering to all relevant road rules and safety regulations
* Representing Boomerang Training Solutions in a professional and courteous manner
What we're looking for
* A valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
* Previous experience as a driving instructor or similar role
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively instruct and engage with students
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt your teaching style to individual student needs
* A commitment to providing a safe and enjoyable learning environment for all students
* Familiarity with the local roads and traffic conditions in the Wollongong area
