We need a Quality Manager who’s willing to roll up their sleeves and collaborate at all levels. This isn’t a role for someone who wants to stay behind a desk—your involvement, contribution, and hands-on leadership will be critical to our success.As the Quality Manager at PROK, you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of driving continuous improvement across safety, quality, and environmental performance in a dynamic, hands-on role. You’ll work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain and will be responsible to:Lead Quality initiatives to improve safety, quality, and environmental performance.Investigate issues in supply chain, production, and engineering and find solutions.Lead the development of injury management programs, ensuring return-to-work programs are in place and employees are supported through the recovery processCreate and maintain training programs to promote safety and quality.Track quality metrics and conduct audits to measure and improve QA processes.Execution:Maintain and improve ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 systems.Ensure quality control with suppliers, subcontractors, and the production team.Manage quality documentation for major projects, including MDRs.Oversee emergency preparedness and lead crisis management when needed.Conduct audits and inspections to identify hazards, non-compliance, and quality gaps; provide improvement recommendations.Develop and review SOPs, safety procedures, and policies to meet all regulations.Monitor incidents, near misses, and safety observations, implementing corrective actions.Culture:Champion all things safety and quality. Develop a strategy to further develop our safety culture, while highlighting the importance of such a culture.Act as a partner to all departments within the business and give advice and guidance to employees on safety related matters.This is a fulltime position based in Smeaton Grange, NSW.About youAs the Quality Manager at PROK, you’ll lead continuous improvement in safety, quality, and environmental performance within our manufacturing facility. While ideal candidates will have experience in key areas, we welcome applicants who are motivated to learn and grow into the role.Ideal experience for the role includes:Qualified Professional:Formal qualifications in quality and safety, such as a Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety and a Diploma of Quality Auditing (or equivalent).Strong knowledge in the interpretation and application of relevant HSE Acts, Regulations, Australian Standards, and Codes of Practice.Proven Experience:Ability to drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and manage supplier quality.Proven HSEQ management experience in a high-volume, mass manufacturing environment.Experience in Return-to-Work processes and supporting injured workers in their rehabilitation.Experience in creating and maintaining policies and procedures – this is a hands-on role where you'll build systems from the ground up.Subject Matter Expert:Strong knowledge of AS/NZS 1554 welding and AS/NZS 4680 galvanizing standards.Expertise in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 systems and continuous improvement.Relentless bias to action:Someone who gets things done and drives results.Why PROK?Be provided with an attractive remuneration package, with access to industry leading employee wellness and benefits programs.Become part of a global, successful business that values their people.Gain access to unique training experiencesEnviable career advancement opportunitiesWe pride ourselves in employing the best experts to provide global expertise, delivered locally.Challenge the standard with us today.
