About the Role
As an experienced Finance Manager, you will report directly to the Financial Controller and support the CFO in overseeing the financial stewardship of the business.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and maintaining comprehensive financial models, analysing performance and providing recommendations for improvement.
* Preparing accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and delivering clear variance analysis.
* Partnering with department heads to build budgets, prepare forecasts and monitor performance against targets.
* Tracking and analysing costs for raw materials, labour and overheads; maintaining Bill of Materials (BOM) and cost sheets; conducting variance analysis.
* Monitoring and reconciling inventory records, supporting cycle counts and year-end stocktakes and ensuring correct accounting for raw materials, Work-in-Progress (WIP) and finished goods.
* Leading the transactional processing team, driving process improvement and efficiency gains.
* Analysing operating costs, identifying areas for reduction and ensuring compliance with expense policies.
* Managing, mentoring and developing the finance team.
