Job Description
Focus Minerals is currently seeking a Water Services Technician to join them on an 8/6 roster on site. Reporting to the Superintendent: Production, you will be responsible for maintaining the Focus water services equipment and infrastructure through a safe, systematic and sustaining process. The secondary function is to assist in the auxiliary machine or plant works to sustain operations
Key Responsibilities Include
* Ensure remote field service equipment such as gensets, pumping systems, lighting towers, compressors are re-fuelled, serviced and maintained.
* Carry out critical water management monitoring, recording, and pipeline inspections.
* Recording fuel consumption, water extraction volumes and machine hours.
* Clean operational areas utilizing mobile equipment around the plant such as IT loaders, bobcat, and forklift work.
* Poly pipe welding repairs and modifications executed as required.
* Liaise with Contractors and Stakeholders as required.
* TSF monitoring and poly works as required.
Qualifications
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
* Minimum of two years' experience in a role with comparable responsibilities.
* Valid mobile equipment operation tickets.
* Poly welding certification.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Pronto (or equivalent software) is highly desirable.
* Demonstrated experience in off-road driving and reversing fuel trailers.
* Strong mechanical aptitude with proven ability to operate and troubleshoot equipment.
