About the Role
Brief Description
As a safety-focused tradesperson, you will be required to work alongside a crew of like-minded professionals to deliver maintenance onsite. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and sustainability of our organisation by ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
1. Set out and install hot and cold-water systems and associated equipment
2. Undertake storm water and sewer installations
3. 'Rough-in' water and gas services
4. Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems and materials required
5. Design and install sanitary plumbing and water supply systems, discharge pipes, and sanitary fixtures
6. Assemble and install mechanical services plant, air handling, and conditioning equipment and small-bore heating systems
7. Install sewerage and effluent pumping equipment and disposal systems
8. Install below-ground drainage systems and associated ground support systems
9. Install gas appliances, flues, and pressure-regulating devices
10. Fabricate and install metal roofing, rainwater goods, and flashings
11. Penetrate and inground service installations
12. Final 'Fit-off' and finishing installations with high-quality work
Required Skills & Qualifications
You must be trade qualified or in your 4th year of apprenticeship. You should have a sound knowledge of all tasks and activities related to new installations as well as a sound knowledge of the Plumbing Code and Australian standards.
