Salary: $60.27 – 62.79 phr (SCHADS Level 7B) with leave loading, super and salary packaging.
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Team Leader to head the Mitchell and Murrindindi Surge Team as part of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Local service.
As Team Leader you will provide operational leadership and clinical oversight to a multidisciplinary team, delivering evidence‐based mental health and wellbeing support. You will champion a "no wrong door" approach, facilitate collaborative care planning, risk assessment and safety planning, build strong partnerships across the service system, and drive continuous service improvement to ensure local relevance and responsiveness. The role requires working closely with the Operations Manager and the broader Greater Shepparton, Strathbogie and Moira (GSSM) Mental Health and Wellbeing Local.
Responsibilities
* Provide operational and clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary team.
* Ensure delivery of person‐centred, community‐led mental health and wellbeing services.
* Champion a "no wrong door" approach, linking participants with health, social care and community services.
* Facilitate collaborative care planning, risk assessment and safety planning processes.
* Build and maintain strong partnerships across the service system.
* Drive continuous service improvement and local relevance.
Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor of Allied Health, Nursing, Psychology, or other relevant tertiary mental health qualification.
* Current AHPRA registration (mandatory).
* Leadership experience in a community mental health setting.
* Demonstrated time‐management, written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Friendly, proactive approach and ability to manage competing needs, deadlines and priorities.
* Ability to work independently and within a team.
* Willingness to travel and work within the community as required.
Additional Requirements
* Current valid driver's licence.
* Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Screening Check.
* Right to work within Australia.
* International Police Check (if required) and satisfactory National Police Records Check (valid within the last 12 months).
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.
