Job Description:
This role involves delivering high-quality maternal and child health services to families in the community. The successful applicant will have a strong commitment to improving outcomes for children and families, particularly those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
The Maternal and Child Health Nurse will be responsible for providing direct service delivery to families across the City of Greater Dandenong, as well as outreach services to families who are unable to access the Universal MCH centres.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality maternal and child health services to families in the community
* Provide direct service delivery to families across the City of Greater Dandenong
* Develop and implement strategies to improve health outcomes for children and families
* Work collaboratively with other agencies and stakeholders to achieve program goals
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The successful applicant will possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Current Victorian Registration as Division 1 nurse and midwifery endorsement
* MCH qualifications
* Specialist knowledge and experience working with families with children 0-School age in the Victorian MCH program

Working Conditions:
The Maternal and Child Health Nurse will work in a variety of settings, including the Universal MCH centres and in the community. The successful applicant will be required to travel to different locations, and may be required to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.
