As we continue to grow and strengthen our operations, we are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead our quality function across multiple facilities in the Hunter Region.
About The Role
Reporting to senior leadership, the Quality Manager will take ownership of all quality systems, processes, and outcomes across our Buchanan and Redhead operations.
You will lead a team of Quality Engineers and Coordinators, ensuring all products meet project specifications, company standards, and industry requirements. You will also be responsible for maintaining ISO and IMS compliance, managing audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that support efficient production and reduce rework.
This role is both strategic and hands‐on, requiring a strong focus on operational outcomes and practical quality improvements.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the quality function across multiple production facilities
* Ensure all production outputs meet required specifications and quality standards
* Oversee inspection, testing, and non‐conformance management processes
* Maintain and improve ISO 9001 and Integrated Management Systems (IMS)
* Lead internal and external audits and manage corrective actions
* Develop and deliver quality performance reporting and insights
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and rework
* Work closely with operations and production teams to embed quality into daily activities
* Manage and develop the quality team to achieve high‐performance outcomes
About You
You are an experienced quality professional with a strong background in manufacturing, construction, or a related industrial environment. You bring a practical, hands‐on approach to quality management and are confident working closely with operational teams to drive real outcomes.
You are a strong leader who can build accountability, improve systems, and influence positive change across the business.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a Quality Manager or senior quality leadership role
* Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and integrated management systems
* Experience leading quality teams across multiple sites or projects
* Demonstrated ability to drive quality improvements and reduce rework
* Strong understanding of production or manufacturing processes
* Excellent problem‐solving and root cause analysis capability
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Experience managing audits and regulatory compliance
