National Auto Glass Supplies is Australia and New Zealand's premier importer and wholesaler of automotive glass products.
We are seeking an experienced and proactive individual to support daily operations, customer service, and team performance at our branch. This role involves supervising warehouse and logistics operations, and maintaining compliance with company procedures and safety standards. Working out of our distribution centre in Dandenong South, VIC.
Role Overview
The Warehouse Supervisor, plays a key role in supporting the Warehouse Supervisor the Branch/Warehouse Manager in managing an efficient and effective warehouse operation. This involves providing clear directions to the warehousing team & quality service to all business customers.
Key Accountabilities
* Investigate and report glass breakages to the Branch Manager and ensure all damaged products are processed into the breakage area.
* Perform daily and weekly inventory checks, report low stock levels, and ensure all goods received match the packing list.
* Organise and prepare the warehouse team to receive containers, and manage stock transfers as needed.
* Supervise the warehouse team, ensuring efficiency and professionalism, and report any staff performance issues.
* Collaborate with the CSR team to address and resolve customer queries promptly.
* Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment, including safety and racking checks.
* Ensure all warehouse documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications and Skills
* Proven experience as a warehouse supervisor.
* Gas Forklift & Reach Forklift Experience.
* Proven experience in operations, logistics, or warehousing.
* Understanding of workplace safety, compliance, and HR procedures.
* Knowledge of Large ERP systems
* Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
* Experience in the Automotive industry (Desired)
