âmara What you’ll be doing
* Provision of technical support for Signalling standards to asset/corridor managers and technical staff.
* Support alignment with industry objectives of harmonisation for Signalling engineering, including standards, technology and processes.
* Assessment and evaluation of new technology and ensuring compliance under the guidance of the Principal Signalling Engineer.
* Provide input and support frameworks for training and development of Signalling Engineering, Maintenance and Project management staff.
* Support the development of Australian Standards for Signalling that meet ARTC requirements, including contribution and leadership within the RISSB processes for developing standards and adoption on the ARTC network.
What we’re looking for కూడి>-b>
* Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
* ARTC Statement of Competency (Signals) or demonstrated ability to attain per Signals Competency Assessment (EST‑20‑03).
* Minimum 6 years practical technical experience in railway Signalling with knowledge of the Australian railway environment.
* Practical experience in the development or application of standards, technical documentation, engineering processes and procedures.
* Demonstrable experience in building strong working relationships with technical staff and management.
* Excellent analytical and problem‑solving ability.
Desirable
* Experience in Signalling / Digital Train Control System Interface.
