The Community Care (CNE) is a vital member of the multidisciplinary health care team (MDT), delivering high-quality, person-centred care to clients and supporting nursing staff across MLHD. This role focuses on fostering clinical excellence, professional growth, and best-practice care delivery in an environment where every day makes a difference.

About The Opportunity
As a Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) within MLHD, you'll play a key role in shaping the skills, confidence and success of our Community Nursing team. You'll lead education and professional development, delivering engaging, evidence-based learning that strengthens clinical practice and supports safe, high-quality care in community settings.

Through your leadership, coaching and mentoring, you'll empower nurses to deliver compassionate, person-centred care—helping clients remain well, safe and supported at home and in the community every day.

In This Role You Will

* Deliver evidence-based, person-centred care aligned with professional standards and legislation.
* Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance clients outcomes and wellbeing.
* Identify education needs and deliver evidence-based training for TPP participants and Community Nursing teams
* Coordinate staff orientation and provide clinical supervision, coaching and mentoring to nurses, midwives and students
* Develop and share education resources, contributing to district-wide training and clinical policy/procedure development
* Promote a positive learning culture, role model best practice and maintain own professional capability
* Participate in service audits, reviews and quality improvement activities in line with NSQHS Standards
* Support safe delegation and skill development for ENs, AINs and other staff within scope of practice
