Job Description & Summary

About Us

The challenges facing business and society are complex and need new angles and fresh thinking. Your human ingenuity, passion and experience, combined with the latest technology, make these problems easier to tackle. Together, we are a passionate community of solvers coming together in unexpected ways, creating new solutions for a new day.

We're in the business of transformation. To transform the future, we're building a diverse, ambitious team that champions imaginative ways to solve our clients' most important challenges

The Integrated Infrastructure team brings this to life by supporting our clients to define, evaluate, and deliver the infrastructure our communities need to grow and prosper. Our team works with government and the private sector, providing independent, rigorous and strategic advice across diverse industries, including transport and placemaking, utilities, agriculture, renewable energy, tourism, aerospace, defence and social infrastructure.

How and where work gets done is being reimagined. It all adds up to The New Equation.

About the opportunity

You'll help Australian governments and the private sector create value for the communities we live in, and improve the way they work. From building the nation's future infrastructure, to creating smarter cities, and igniting economic activity, together we build trust in society and solve important problems.

Trust and Risk bring this to life by helping clients to protect and strengthen every aspect of their business; from people to performance, systems to strategy and business plans to business resilience.

As an Infrastructure, Project Governance and Controls Manager your impact will be seen by:

Partnering with clients to help them mitigate the risks they face, by developing internal audit and risk management strategies to strengthen their existing controls and processes

Identifying priority areas of risk and process improvement by understanding their objectives, risks, control frameworks, systems and regulatory environments

Helping clients navigate an evolving risk landscape by developing and executing test plans, identifying control effectiveness and improvements and reporting these to clients in an impactful way

To solve important problems we need to aim for the inclusion of our diverse talent. We empower our people to use their creativity, authenticity and human differences to be the champions of change. We know that when people from diverse backgrounds and with different points of view work together, we create the most value - for our clients, our people and our society. If you don't think you quite meet all of the qualifications, we'd still love to hear from you.

About you

You have a background in governance, risk and controls and are skilled in developing audit and risk management strategies and methodologies, holding an understanding of the commercial issues facing businesses and how to influence client conversations.

Experience in performing independent audits, overpayment claims, project performance and gateway reviews.

You're passionate about being at the forefront of change, you're ready to help our Trust and Risk team transform how risk is perceived and capitalised on.

You're collaborative and enjoy working in an innovative environment. You're a problem solver by nature and want to join a firm that values the kind of people who reimagine the possible for their clients and stakeholders. Most importantly, you act with integrity and show care for the people you work with.

We would also like to hear from Engineers, Accountants, Lawyers, Economists and Science graduates.
