Join the thriving team at Salter Brothers Hospitality as a Regional Revenue Manager.The purpose of the Regional Revenue Manager is to work with the Regional General Manager to drive revenue performance for Salter Brothers Hospitality brands and properties within the assigned regional location. This cluster of properties will include but not be limited to the Hunter Valley region.Working with the Regional General Manager, with the support of the Group Director of Revenue and Distribution, the Regional Revenue Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the Salter Brothers Hospitality strategies of operational excellence, enterprise system implementation, revenue, and distribution excellence.Providing input on all aspects of revenue management, including pricing structure, segmentation optimisation, channel optimisation, analytics of rooms and total revenue, ongoing forecasting of future performance, and championing revenue generation initiatives.About Salter Brothers HospitalityAt Salter Brothers Hospitality, our values; Elevated, Enduring, Care, Mastery, and People are at the heart of everything we do. By fostering a supportive and enriching environment, we ensure that everyone feels valued and appreciated, creating an enduring and lasting impact.The role and key duties:Support the Regional General Manager in ensuring consistent revenue management across hotels, bars, and restaurants in the designated region.Maintain accurate reports, share with key teams, monitor performance, and provide trend analysis.Use advanced analytics and historical data for accurate demand prediction, collaborate with sales and marketing teams, and regularly review forecasting models.Conduct regular competitive analysis, implement targeted promotional campaigns, and develop strategic partnerships and alliances.Develop standardised reporting templates, implement regular reporting schedules, and use advanced data visualisation tools to present insights clearly and effectively.Achieve commercial objectives through budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Prepare annual budgets and commercial plans.Work with sales, reservations, and operations to maximise revenues. Communicate strategies to relevant teams.Implement dynamic pricing strategies, optimise room rates through continuous monitoring and adjustment, and enhance distribution channel management.Be a key driver in ensuring revenue growth and delivery throughout the region, towards achieving the Company’s commercial objectives.Identify and eliminate inefficiencies, develop upselling and cross-selling strategies, and optimise ancillary revenue streams.Support the adoption of Enterprise Systems and ensure team proficiency in innovative technologies.Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and guest preferences to identify revenue opportunities.Undertake additional tasks as directed by the Regional General Manager and the Group Director of Revenue and Distribution.Essential criteria required to be considered:Demonstrated success with at least 3 years in a revenue management role within the hotel industry.Expertise in utilising revenue management systems and technologies such as Lighthouse, STR, CoStar, SiteMinder Channel (required), Sabre (desirable), Opera, Mews, and exposure to other PMS systems.Familiarity with RMS systems like Duetto or Ideas is desirable.Advanced Excel skills including Power Query and Power BI for creating and managing complex spreadsheets.Highly skilled in forecasting, with a demonstrated ability in analytical and data-driven thinking.Track record of achieving strong revenue performance through market trend analysis, demand forecasting, and optimised pricing strategies.Experienced in developing optimal segmentation strategies and plans to maximise revenue opportunities.Strong leadership, planning, organisational, and communication skills.Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and impact decision-making processes.To apply online, please click on the apply button.For a confidential discussion please contact Emma Martin, our Talent Acquisition Manager.
