What You'll Be Doing

As a Housing Officer, you'll be a key part of our Tenancy team, managing a portfolio of properties across the Central Coast, Lake Macquarie, and Hunter regions. You’ll be the main point of contact for our tenants, using your expertise to build strong relationships and provide clear, fair guidance.

Responsibilities include:

- Managing rent arrears, mediating tenant and neighbour complaints, and representing Pacific Link Housing at the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT) when needed.
- Using knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act and our policies to provide transparent information, helping tenants make informed decisions to sustain their tenancies.

What You'll Bring to the Team

We believe the right person for this role is someone who is a great communicator, highly organised, and committed to making a difference.

- A solid understanding of property / tenancy management.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with people from all walks of life.
- The ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- A professional and positive attitude, representing Pacific Link Housing with pride.
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- A current NSW Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel across our footprint including our head office in Gosford regularly.
- Knowledge of NSW Tenancy legislation and the Community Housing industry is a plus, but we’re happy to help you learn!
