A$33.41/yr - A$34.46/yr
About your New Role
As a Youth Worker, you’ll be the hands-on support in a young person’s journey, helping them build independence, navigate services, develop life skills, and work toward their personal goals. You’ll form genuine, trusting relationships and be a consistent support in their lives, working under the guidance of a Program Coordinator and alongside other dedicated professionals.
About You
* Proven experience working with young people, particularly in outreach or community-based settings.
* Practical understanding of life skills for independent living.
* Ability to follow direction, manage time effectively, and work as part of a team.
* A strong foundation in trauma-informed and strengths-based practice.
* Experience working with young people engaged with Child Safety or transitioning from care.
Requirements
* A current Open Driver's Licence
* Working with Children Check
* Police Check
* Certificate in Youth Work, Community Services, or willingness to work towards (Desirable)
