We're growing our Sales Team at Knoxfield and looking for a passionate, driven Sales Consultant to help expand our John Deere Compact Construction Equipment division. In this role, you'll bring enthusiasm, a hunger for success, and a commitment to our ongoing success. You'll be part of a team that prides itself on delivering world-class customer service and tailored solutions to our valued clients.
Duties and responsibilities
* Represents the company for the sale of equipment to customers within a geographic area
* Maintain current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership.
* Implement and maintain regular call cycles within a given area of responsibility.
* Maintain all customer information in the assigned territory for sales management.
* Understand and adhere to a clearly defined sales process.
* Achieves sales objectives set by Brandt as part of the sales planning process, including but not limited to market share.
* Maintain assigned company vehicles and equipment.
* Assist with the preparation and execution of customer events, including conducting new equipment field demonstrations.
* Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods.
* Attend applicable sales training events/seminars.
What are we looking for?
* Sales industry experience and comprehensive knowledge of compact construction equipment are considered an asset.
* Strong sales and customer service skills.
* Highly motivated and self-directed.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills.
* Ability to build relationships and prospect new accounts.
