Join us in our mission to enable exceptional outcomes through support every step of the way, from concept to construction.About The RoleWe are currently looking for a Site Manager to join our Precast Plant in Wollongong.You will be responsible for leading all aspects of a newly established site, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while laying the foundations for long-term success. This is a hands-on leadership role, you'll work side by side with the team on the floor, actively involved in production and site activities. You'll also be responsible for onboarding new team members, setting up processes, and ensuring that proven systems from other Cirtex sites are effectively implemented and scaled at Wollongong.This position plays a pivotal role in driving site readiness, health and safety compliance, team capability, productivity, and cost control, while contributing to key national operations projects aligned with the company's growth targets.To be considered for this role, you will need to have / demonstrate:Proven hands-on leadership experience in operations or manufacturing environmentsFull car licenceStrong understanding of Australian Health and Safety legislation and compliance practicesDemonstrated ability to manage teams, production planning, and site level performanceProficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite of programmes and CRM softwareHighly organised with excellent time management ability; able to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively to ensure deadlines and KPIs are metEffective communication (written and verbal) skills; able to convey ideas, expectations, and informationExceptional customer service skillsComfortable working on the production floor alongside the team to get the job doneA high level of professional integrityA desire to develop a high level of understanding of geosynthetics and the design function they provideSelf-motivated and takes initiativeEnthusiastic and proactiveAccountable and adaptableGreat work ethic and can-do attitudeApproachable and positive interpersonal skillsAbility to build and maintain strong, open, and collaborative relationships across all levelsDesired skills and competencies:Forklift licenceExperience setting up or scaling new sites, teams, or operationsProject management experience in operational or process improvement initiativesExposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologiesFamiliarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and digital operations toolsThis is a full time opportunity working Monday - Friday with possible Saturdays as required, an immediate start is available.
