Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Technician
* Carry out diagnostics, maintenance, services, repairs, rebuilds and breakdowns on a range of commercial vehicles.
* Diagnose faults and carry out service, maintenance, repair and rebuild work to your own capability.
* Check own work to ensure it meets industry standards.
* Help train apprentices and assist other workshop personnel in their roles.
* Complete job records accurately and participate in the roster for after-hours work.
* Acknowledge responsibility for providing exceptional customer service at all times.
About You
* Hold a heavy vehicle mechanic qualification or similar trade qualification.
* Demonstrate a commitment to working safely and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Hold a valid driver's licence and preferably additional licences such as HR and forklift.
* Have experience working with heavy vehicles, preferably including Kenworth or DAF models.
