Corestaff Townsville is seeking an experienced Kitchenhand to join our clients team - Immediate start.
As a Kitchenhand you will specifically:
* Assist in the preparation and provision of nutritious and varied meals to young persons and staff.
* Adherence to the security and safety of the centre by observance of operational procedures and standards as they impact on kitchen processes and procedure.
* Maintain a hygienic, safe and secure working environment, including cleanliness of work areas and kitchen equipment.
* Assist in the control of stores and provisions.
* Contribute to an effective system of stock control, e.g. recording and stocktakes.
* Undertake administrative procedures in the food services area, including procedures for ordering, storing and distributing stores
Role requirements
* Must hold current Working with Children Blue card
* Hold current licence and own transport to get to and from work
* Must be able to pass Drug and Alcohol screening and criminal history check
