A global infrastructure consulting firm is seeking a senior-level project manager to work on diverse projects across water and building programs.
About the Role
As a senior project manager, you will be responsible for autonomously managing, planning, and delivering a range of projects for government clients across Queensland.
* You will guide and oversee the establishment of the project governance structure, including budget, scope, and schedule, alongside managing project commercial performance.
* You will engage with internal stakeholders, clients, contractors, and industry stakeholders to facilitate technical discussions, align project objectives, and promote a client-centric culture.
* You will prepare and execute project plans during opportunity and contracted phases, including scope & approach, engineering, deliverables management, resources, procurement, budget, scheduling, change management, reporting, and project closeout.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Tertiary qualifications in construction management, project management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field, with eligibility for professional memberships and appropriate industry certification.
* Ideally, at least 10 years of client-side project management experience, preferably within an engineering consultancy or government agency, delivering construction or infrastructure projects.
* Proven experience in maintaining relationships at senior levels within client organisations to establish visibility of pipeline and influence current and future opportunities.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated commitment to mentoring and developing junior team members.
