Senior HCM Functional Consultant
Location: Workday, Barton, Australian Capital Territory, Australia
We are looking for a hardworking, innovative and collaborative functional consultant to join our team. In this role you will play a key part in ensuring the successful implementation of Workday solutions with customers through product and implementation expertise. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience implementing Australian HR & Payroll systems, requirements gathering, configuration, data conversion, and testing. You should be adaptable, curious, detail oriented, self-motivated, proactive and able to successfully partner with customers and your project team.
Key Responsibilities
Become an expert across multiple Workday products with a focus on HCM and Talent.
On client engagements: understand client business requirements, configure the Workday solution, demonstrate configurations through prototype configuration, and assist the client in testing the Workday solution.
Work with the client to translate their requirements and legacy data into the Workday solution.
Assist the Integration Consulting team in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and third-party or custom solutions.
Understand and apply Workday's Implementation Methodology on all client engagements.
Ensure the client benefits from Workday's proven solutions.
Mentor and share product knowledge with other consultants; collaborate with colleagues to develop solutions and streamline deployment processes.
Help deliver successful project outcomes and lasting client relationships.
Participate in regular training to expand product knowledge with each new Workday release and other job-critical skills relevant to the role.
About You
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of functional experience with HR & Payroll software solutions or systems.
Recent Australian Industry HR & Payroll experience.
Previous consulting experience, either with a professional services company or as an internal consultant.
Experience implementing or working with Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP or similar applications.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities.
Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training.
Experience deploying multiple projects simultaneously is a plus.
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
The ability to acquire, hold and maintain an Australian Government security clearance to the required level is a plus.
