About The Role
As the State Sales Manager – WA, you will lead the sales performance and customer growth strategy for the State Distribution Centre, ensuring strong operational alignment and delivery. Reporting to the General Manager – Sales, you will be accountable for achieving sales budgets, driving profitable growth, improving market share and fostering a high‐performance, customer‐first culture.
Responsibilities
* Own and deliver the state sales budget and P&L performance.
* Lead and develop Territory Managers and Customer Service teams to achieve sales targets.
* Build strong customer and industry relationships to grow market share.
* Collaborate with Operations to ensure seamless customer onboarding and service delivery.
* Identify market trends and growth opportunities to support strategic decisions.
* Champion sales training, compliance, WHS standards and effective use of business systems.
* Provide leadership support across the State Distribution Centre as required, including national travel.
Qualifications
* Proven sales leadership experience within automotive, industrial distribution or related sectors.
* Proven success delivering state sales budgets, revenue growth, and gross profit targets with full P&L accountability.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and performance‐manage Territory Managers to exceed targets and grow market share.
* Strong commercial acumen across key account management, new business development and contract negotiation.
* Data‐driven leader who leverages sales KPIs, pipeline reporting and performance metrics to drive results.
