The Lumus Imaging team at Werribee is growing
Werribee Mercy Hospital, located just 25 km west of Melbourne on the Princes Highway, is a dynamic public general hospital offering a wide range of services, including surgical, maternity, orthopaedic, and a 24-hour emergency department. The hospital has grown rapidly to meet the needs of Melbourne's fast-growing western suburbs.
We are currently seeking a Obstetrics Sonographer to support the team at Werribee. Our new public hospital provides a dynamic environment where you'll be supported by an incredibly dedicated and collaborative team, led by flexible and supportive management.
This position is offered on a Full-Time or part-time basis, working Monday to Friday from 8 am – 5 pm with on-call shift work and occasional weekend shifts.
Relocation support is available for successful candidates looking to join our region.
To be successful in this role:
1. Qualified Obstetrics Sonographer with ASAR Accreditation
2. Competent with general US exams, obstetrics, and gynaecological scans
3. We welcome dual qualified Sonographer/Radiographer candidates and can support their development.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to thrive in our team-oriented environment.
5. Ability to prioritize a busy workload and work effectively both independently and within a team.
