- **Total Indicative Remuneration Salary MD-2 $365,798 - $713,692 p.a. (pro rata)+ superannuation and salary packaging**:

- **Temporary from 1/1/25 up to 9/7/25 and part-time working 7.5 hours per week**

**About the Role**

As a Consultant in Cardiology with CALHN, you will be a vital part of a dedicated team delivering exceptional, patient-focused clinical services. You'll provide expert cardiology care to patients within the CALHN Cardiology Unit, while helping to shape best practices in the design and delivery of these essential services. In this role, you will contribute to a dynamic, forward-thinking environment where patient safety and excellence are at the core of every decision.

In addition to patient care, you will play an active role in advancing cardiovascular research, with a particular focus on integrating Artificial Intelligence to drive innovation in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. You'll also contribute to the department's commitment to teaching and training, helping to shape the next generation of clinicians. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced cardiologist passionate about clinical excellence, research, and education.

**About You**
- **Qualified Medical Professional** - Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, with appropriate specialist qualifications and registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Authority.
- **Clinical Excellence in Cardiology** - Proven experience in cardiology practice, management of cardiovascular disease, and participation in research and quality improvement activities.
- **Effective Communicator & Leader** - Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to supervise research students, communicate effectively within multidisciplinary teams, and liaise with diverse populations.
- **Commitment to Development & Quality** - Enthusiastic participation in professional activities, dedication to personal and professional growth, and a strong focus on quality improvement in clinical outcomes.
