MAINTENANCE (PLANT TECHNICIAN) CO-ORDINATOR
Full-time | Melbourne
The Plant Society seeks a passionate and keen Maintenance Coordinator to join our Melbourne family. As Maintenance Coordinator you will be responsible for administration and development of our maintenance portfolio across Melbourne and our interstate locations, while providing day‐to‐day care and gardening expertise across residential and commercial spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and train the team of Plant Butlers who care for our plant installations, instilling a practical hard‐work ethic, autonomous problem solving and plant passion.
- Effectively manage and roster the maintenance schedule across locations.
- Ensure world‐class services for clients and maintain excellence in all aspects of communication and customer experience.
- Promote and sell our maintenance packages to a diverse clientele, including proposal, quoting and invoicing.
- Drive growth and profitability in the department.
- Continuously review, develop and implement optimal plant‐care practices.
- Collaborate across the business, especially with the Commercial department.
- Prepare financial reporting, review and analysis as required.
Required Qualifications and Attributes
- Passion for plants.
- Background in professional gardening or design (favourable but not essential).
- Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
- High standards of personal presentation and pride in work.
- Initiative and drive for excellent plant care.
- Flexibility to work variable hours.
- Excellent communication skills to connect intimately with clients and team.
